What WAS Up Wednesday?! On Wednesday, May 1 the National Honor Society volunteered to host a blood drive with the American Red Cross. Many students, faculty and community members came by to donate blood. We had 27 eligible donors and finished the day with 23 full donations. Thank you to the Red Cross, the NHS student volunteers, the community members who donated and spread the word and the staff for donating, helping with setup, covering through the day and clean up. The Red Cross nurses praised our students both donating and volunteering for their behavior and willingness, we are VERY PROUD. Donations make a big difference in many lives. Thank you everyone! If you didn't get a chance to donate yesterday, there is a drive today at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lincoln- go to redcrossblood.org to sign up!

What's Up Wednesday?!?!?!?! Students in Robotics have been working to code apps that are interactive with a device called a micro:bit. This week they built apps that can collect data using the buttons on the micro:bit. Later on this semester we will make apps that allow us to go collect field data outside using the micro:bit.

Congratulations to Girl's varsity basketball team on another outstanding season! The program has seen amazing success and consistency over the years, always in the hunt competing for a Championship. The Regional game didn't go as hoped, but as usual they displayed tireless effort. PVHS has the lowest enrollment of ANY school in the state for Class C, and to have reached the championship game every year over the past 3 seasons is a testament to the hard work and dedication put in by the players and coaches. The community is proud!
