Congratulations to the girl's soccer team on their semifinal win over Penquis yesterday. The teams were tied 0-0 after 60 minutes of regulation play plus 10 minutes of overtime, and went to penalty kicks where the Lady Cougars won in the second round. The successful scorers in the winning round were all sixth graders, Cami Osgood, Hannah Bernard, and Gabby Dube. Julia LeBrun and Lilly Hallett shared responsibilities in the net during the game to help get the win. The girls will travel to Medway tomorrow for the championship, with the gametime either being at 3:00 or 3:30.
Also congratulations to the boy's soccer team on their semifinal win over Greenville yesterday 4-0. Henry Brochu scored 2 goals, while Ethan Potter and Aiden Champion each netted one. Ethan and Aiden also had 2 assists. Brady Carr and Wyatt Rackliff each spent some time as goalie to help earn the shutout. The Cougars will travel to PCMS in Guilford Friday to play a 6:00 championship game under the lights.
